Il costruttore americano Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation ha nominato la Stork Fokker AESP "Top Performer 2005", nella categoria Strutture, per aver rispettato tutte le aspettative della Gulfstream per la qualità, l’affidabilità, la puntualità nelle consegne e nel supporto post vendita del prodotto.
Dal 1993 la Stork Fokker è un partner della Gulfstream Aerospace con responsabilità, per la progettazione e la costruzione della sezione di coda del bireattori d’affari della serie GV. La serie Gulfstream GV comprende il modello originale GV e quelli attualmente in produzione, denominati G500 e G550. Per la costruzione della struttura di coda, la società olandese utilizza materiali compositi metallo/carbonio per ottenere le caratteristiche ottimali: leggerezza, robustezza ed aerodinamicità perfetta. Il 25 gennaio scorso il 300° complessivo è stato consegnato alla Gulfstream Aerospace.
Esattamente un anno fa, nel marzo 2005, Stork Fokker aveva anche ricevuto il "Supplier of the Year Award", nella categoria “Major Structures”, da parte della Boeing. Stork Fokker è una divisione della Stork Aerospace che sviluppa e produce componenti e sistemi avanzati per l’aeronautica, oltre a fornire servizi integrati e prodotti ai possessori ed operatori di velivoli. Nel 2005 la società, che impiega 3.400 dipendenti, ha avuto un giro d’affari di 551 milioni di € sul totale di 1,82 miliardi di € raggiunto dalla Stork Aerospace nel suo insieme.

The US aircraft manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation has named Stork Fokker AESP "Top Performer" in the Structures category for meeting all expectations of Gulfstream with respect to quality, reliability, delivery time and product/after market support during the year 2005.
Since 1993 Stork Fokker is partner of Gulfstream Aerospace with responsability for the design and manufacturing of the tail section of the GV series business jet. The Gulfstream GV series comprises three aircraft types, the original GV, the G500 and the G550, both in actual production. For the construction of the tail units, the Dutch company uses a combination of carbon and metal to achieve the ideal properties: low weight, high strength and excellent aerodynamics. On the 25th January 2006, the 300th tail section was delivered to Gulfstream Aerospace.
Just one year ago, in March 2005, Stork Fokker also received the "Supplier of the Year Award" in the “Major Structures” category from airliner maker Boeing. Stork Fokker is a part of Stork Aerospace which develops and produces advanced components and systems for the aviation and aerospace industry; moreover it supplies integrated services and products to aircraft owners and operators. The company achieved a turnover of € 551 million in 2005 with 3,400 employees, out of the total Stork Aerospace turnover of € 1.82 billion.
