JOOT Aviation Project GmbH was set up in 2020 by a former EasyJet pilot and a former manager of Germania airlines. In 2021 it was renamed LEAV Aviation and began flight operations in 2022. During the Summer season LEAV Aviation carried out charter flights with a high level of service from their Cologne base airport to Balearic and Aegean resorts and to Arvidsjaur in Lapland. The airline also offers leasing ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) contracts to third party companies such as TUI Airways, Corendon, Marabu, Transavia and Transavia France.
