Airbus A 300B2-1C D-AIAC “Luneburg“ della Lufthansa fotografato a Francoforte/Rhein-Main il 6 maggio 1976. Terzo A 300 della compagnia nazionale tedesca, venne consegnato il 25 aprile 1976, undici giorni prima che venisse scattata la fotografia. Si tratta del 26° A 300 costruito, con primo volo a Tolosa l’11 marzo 1976 (marche provvisorie F-WNBD). Dopo oltre 7 anni di servizio con la Lufthansa, il 16 dicembre 1983 l’aereo venne restituito al costruttore (F-WZMJ), che prima lo noleggiò, dal maggio 1984, alla Northeastern International con marche F-ODRE ed infine, nel 1986, lo rivendette alla Indian Airlines (VT-ELW). Third A 300 for the national German airline, it was delivered on April 25, 1976, just eleven days before the picture was taken. Construction number 026, it made its first flight at Toulouse on March 11, 1976, with test registration F-WNBD. After more than 7 years of service with Lufthansa, on December 16, 1983, the aircraft was returned to the manufacturer as F-WZMJ. The then Airbus Industrie leased it (as F-ODRE) to Northeastern International from May 1984. In 1986 the aircraft was resold to Indian Airlines (VT-ELW). (Aeromedia)
