"EUROPA TOUR 1971" by Luciano Bertolo and Gianni Siccardi is a richly illustrated description (922 illustrations including 657 photos of civil and military aircraft, helicopters and sailplanes) of the very first international journey undertaken by two young aviation enthusiasts. From Turin, in their tiny FIAT 500, in 26 days they visited ten European countries, 60 airports, three aviation museums and seven capital cities with their dozens of monuments and historical sites. During the 7,500 kilometres across Europe they also experienced their first flight aboard a DC-3 between Brussels and Antwerp and a visit to the VFW-Fokker plants in Amsterdam - dreams of a lifetime!

L'Europa Tour 1971, de Luciano Bertolo et Gianni Siccardi, est l'histoire, riche de 922 illustrations (incluant 657 photographies d'aéronefs civils et militaires, hélicoptères et planeurs), retraçant le voyage de deux jeunes passionnés d'aviation. De Turin, dans leur petite Fiat 500, ils passerons 10 frontières en 26 jours, visitant 60 aéroports, 3 musées de l'aviation, 7 capitales ainsi que des monuments et sites historiques. Un total de 7500 km à travers l'Europe ponctués d'aventures aéronautiques et touristiques. Point mémorable: le premier vol des auteurs sur un DC-3 de Bruxelles à Anvers et retour. Parmi les autres épisodes marquants, le périple sera marqué par le raid sur le circuit automobile de Spa-Francorchamps et la visite de l'usine VFW-Fokker à Amsterdam.

Die Geschichte ist reich an Bildern, insgesamt 922 (davon 675 Fotos von Zivilflugzeuge, Militärflugzeuge, Hubschrauber und Segelflugzeuge aller Art). Mit ihrem kleinen FIAT 500 durchquerten sie von Turin aus startend in 26 Tagen 10 europäische Länder. Sie besichtigten 60 Flughäfen, 3 Museen der Luftfahrt, 7 Hauptstädte, Monumente und historische Stätte. Insgesamt fast 7.500 km durch ganz Europa zurücklegend und dabei allerlei auch touristische Abenteuer erlebend. Denkwürdig ist der erste Flug der Autoren auf einem DC-3 von Brüssel nach Antwerpen hin und zurück. Unter den wesentlichen Episoden heben sich besonders auch die Spritztour auf dem Autoring von Spa Francorchamps und die Besichtigung des VFW-Fokker Werks in Amsterdam hervor.
