Bombardier Aerospace ha consegnato i primi due jet regionali CRJ-900 alla SkyWest Airlines, sussudiaria della SkyWest Inc. di St. George nello Utah. La SkyWest Inc. detiene un ordine fermo per 17 CRJ-900, con i primi sei esemplari in via di consegna alla SkyWest Airlines entro la fine del 2006. Adesso la SkyWest Airlines utilizza tutti e tre i tipi di jet regionali della Bombardier, avendo già in linea sia il CRJ-200 che il CRJ-700.
I due nuovi CRJ-900, configurati con dieci posti in Business Class e 60 in Economy, con tutte le poltroncine foderate in pelle, voleranno con il logo Delta Connection per la Delta Air Lines. Attualmente SkyWest Inc (che controlla anche Atlantic Southeast - ASA) ha in servizio un totale di 324 CRJ, compresi i primi CRJ-200 consegnati nel 1994, che operano principalmente dall’hub di Salt Lake City.
Al 30 aprile 2006, il portafoglio della Bombardier contiene ordini per 95 bireattori CRJ-900, 43 dei quali già consegnati.

Bombardier Aerospace has delivered the first two CRJ-900 regional jets to SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest Inc. of St. George, Utah. Of SkyWest Inc.’s 17 firm orders for CRJ-900 aircraft, the first six are scheduled to be delivered to SkyWest Airlines in 2006. SkyWest Airlines now operates all three variants of the Bombardier regional jet, the others being the CRJ-200 and CRJ-700 aircraft.
The two CRJ-900 aircraft, fitted with 10 Business Class and 60 Economy Class all-leather seats, will fly under the Delta Connection banner for Delta Air Lines. SkyWest Inc (which controls also Atlantic Southeast - ASA) has a total of 324 CRJ aircraft currently in operation from the Salt Lake City hub, including the CRJ-200 aircraft that commenced service in 1994.
As at April 30 2006, Bombardier’s Program Status Report shows total orders for CRJ-900 aircraft standing at 95, with 43 aircraft already delivered.
