Anche per la stagione estiva 2006 (1 giugno-30 settembre) Aeroservizi, importante broker aereo nazionale, gestirà in esclusiva un aereo di linea basato all’aeroporto di Malpensa. Il velivolo prescelto, un B.737-500 da 125 posti della compagnia lituana FlyLal, sarà impegnato in voli charter a corto raggio verso le località turistiche greche, spagnole e croate. Come negli anni passati, Aeroservizi fornirà anche il servizio di assistenza ai passeggeri in partenza, con i propri voli, dagli aeroporti italiani.
La FlyLal, prima nota come Lithuanian Airlines, è stata privatizzata nel 2005 con l’ingresso nel capitale della LAL Investiciju Valdymas (67%) e del vettore svedese FlyMe (33%). La flotta, composta attualmente da cinque B.737-500 e due biturboelica Saab 2000 da 50 posti, opera voli di linea diretti da Vilnius verso 12 destinazioni interne ed internazionali. La società risponde a tutti i requisiti tecnici EASA.
La Lietuvos oro linijos, antenata della Lithuanian Airlines, fu creata nel 1938 e, durante l’occupazione sovietica, operò come divisione regionale dell’Aeroflot. La società fu ricostituita nel 1991 con il nome di Lietuvos Avialinijos, ben presto sostituito da Lithuanian Airlines.
Nel 2005 Aeroservizi Air Charter Broker ha avuto un giro d’affari di oltre 10 milioni di euro. Nel primo trimestre 2006, l’operatore ha raggiunto un totale di 1.229.000 euro (+65% sullo stesso periodo del 2005). In base ai contratti già stipulati per la prossima stagione estiva, il valore complessivo del 2006 potrebbe segnare un aumento di almento il 36%. Negli ultimi mesi Aeroservizi segnala anche una notevole ripresa nel mercato dei voli incentive ed aerotaxi, con una crescita superiore al +100% rispetto all'anno precedente.

During the next Summer Season (June 1 – September 30, 2006) Aeroservizi, the leading Italian air broker, will offer again to the Italian tour-operators its “own” airliner, based at Malpensa airport, near Milan. This year, the selected aircraft, a 127-seat B.737-500 flown by FlyLal of Lithuania, will be used for short-range flights to vacation resorts in countries such as Greece, Spain and Croatia. As in the previous seasons, Aeroservizi will also offer assistance to its passengers at the Italian departure airports.
FlyLal, formerly known as Lithuanian Airlines, was privatized in 2005 with fresh capital coming from LAL Investiciju Valdymas (67%) and Swedish airline FlyMe (33%). The fleet, formed by five B.737-500 jetliners and two Saab 2000 50-seater turboprops, covers a network connecting Vilnius to 12 destinations in Lithuania and abroad. The airline is fully compliant to the EASA technical rules.
The forerunner of Lithuanian Airlines, Lietuvos oro linijos, was set up in 1938. During the Soviet occupation it became a regional division of Aeroflot. The airline was re-established in 1991 as Lietuvos Avialinijos, later renamed Lithuanian Airlines.
In 2005 Aeroservizi Air Charter Broker declared a turnover exceeding 10 million Euros. During the 1st quarter of 2006, the company recorded a total revenue of 1,229,000 Euros (+65% on 2005). Considering the contracts already signed for the forthcoming Summer Season, it is expected a full-year turnover with an increase of about 36% on 2005. During the past quarter, Aeroservizi recorded a step increase (+100% in comparison to the same period of 2005) in the activity related to Incentive and Executive flights.
