Qatar Airways prosegue l'espansione ed il rinnovamento della propria flotta con gli Airbus A330-200, aumentando l'offerta sulle rote esistenti ed aggiungendo nuove destinazioni. Essa ha appena messo in servizio il primo esemplare, mentre il secondo è in consegna a breve termine. Gli A 330-200 della Qatar, spinti da due turbofan General Electric CF6-80E1, dispongono di una spaziosa cabina di prima classe e di non tanto meno confortevoli sezioni per la business e la economy, per un totale di 238 posti.
Qatar Airways ha una flotta tutta Airbus con sette A 320, sette A 300-600, un Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) ed, appunto, il primo A 330. Da Doha, la sua rete di servizi si espande all'Europa verso l'ovest ed a parecchie destinazioni asiatiche verso l'est. Qatar Airways ha in corso la messa in linea di otto esemplari di A 330-200, ed ha già espresso la sua intenzione di comperare due megabody Airbus A 380, per i quali ha già posto l'opzione. La compagnia gestisce anche la flotta personale del Sultano del Qatar, che comprende anche un esemplare di Airbus Corporate Jetliner.

Qatar Airways has begun modernising and expanding its fleet with Airbus A 330-200s, allowing it to grow on existing routes and add new destinations. It has just begun A 330 services with its first aircraft, while a second will be added in the coming days. Qatar's A 330-200s feature a spacious four-abreast first class, as well as business and economy, seating a total of 238 passengers. Its aircraft are powered by General Electric CF6-80E1 engines.
Qatar Airways flies an all-Airbus fleet, comprising seven A 320s, seven A 300-600s, an Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) and its A 330. Its route network stretches from Doha to Europe in the west and to Asia in the east. Qatar Airways is acquiring a total of eight A 330-200s, and has also announced plans to acquire two of the world's largest aircraft, the A 380 megabody, on which it also has two options. It also operates a fleet of Airbus aircraft on behalf of the Qatar Amiri flight, including an Airbus Corporate Jetliner.
